iRPS app for iRacing simulation

The iRPS will get around the limitation of iRacing API to manage more than one OutGauge app/device.
All info related to this proxy server are available on my support forum.

This archive include:
End user:
- iRacing Proxy Server (iRPS.exe) alpha version
- iRPS plugin for SLIPro Manager (manage SLI-PRO and SLI-M devices from Leo Bodnar)
- iRPS app for BU0710 (old SLI)

Dev:
- iRPS_OutGauge.h c++ header file for developpers. Contains the sharedmemory name and data struct
- telemapp.h V2 is needed
- iRPS_Thread_SampleCode.cpp

iRacingIRPSplugin.dll plugin for SLIPro Manager installation:
- open the plugins directory of SLIPro Manager
- Backup the normal iRacingPlugin.dll and replace it with the new iRacingIRPSplugin.dll
IMPORTANT: you should never use both plugins and should not use iRPS.exe with the std iRacingPlugin.dll plugin.

Starting session with SLI-PRO + SLI-M + other device:
- connect your SLI-PRO and SLI-M USB device and all other compatible devices with iRPS,
- start iRPS server (you should see the iRPS icon on system tray)
- of course, you copied the entire folder of SLI-PRO Manager and altered their settings to match the SLI-PRO and SLI-M.
- launch both apps from both folder
- launch all other driver/apps
- run iRacing Simulation

Hi All SLI fan !

The new rFSLI-M plugin for rFactor and outgauge app for LFS has been released.
This plugin / app support the new “must have” USB device from Leo named SLI-M (Shift Light Indicator - Monster! ).

A lot of feature from F1Dash has been implemented like all custom shiftlights method, the Optimal Shift Points (OSPT) tracking/aquisition/feedback, Speedlimiter and TC feedback, Low fuel, Yellow Flag, Heat, Damage warning, etc. The minimal requirement to use all feature is:

1 button assigned to OSPT (default is button 1 )
1 button assigned to increase global brightness (default is button 2 )
1 button assigned to decrease global brightness (default is button 3 )

And in rFactor or LFS:
1 button assigned to Speed Limiter
1 button assigned to TC

iRacingSLI-M is out and support the new SLI-M board from Leo. The most important feature from F1Dash development has been implemented but not ALL due to lack of car info in the current iRacing API. Fortunately the sim still in development and the iRacing team will certainly improve it… hope so.

The minimal requirement:

2 new apps released today! those apps support the old but ‘GREAT’ sim racing software named Grand Prix Legends (1965, 66, 67, 69 Grand Prix Season).  You *must* upgrade your GPL to 1.2.0.2 version to be able to use them.

Hi All Sim-Racer!
The new F1Dash plugin for rFactor is now available it contains a lot of improvement and cool feature like the Optimal Shift Points tracking for example…  The minimal requirement to use all feature of F1Dash plugin (excepted the great F1Wheel board from Leo) are:

1 switch of minimum  6 pos.  (SpeedDIGITS - sw1)
1 switch of minimum 21 pos.  or better use 2 buttons (LCD - sw2 )
1 switch of minimum 12 pos.  (TimeDIGITS - sw3)
Optional:
1 switch of minimum  6 pos.  (Leds Brigtness)
1 switch of minimum  6 pos.  (Digits Brigtness)

Buttons assigned:
1 button assigned to Speed Limiter
1 button assigned to Optimal Shift Points Tracking (OSPT)
1 button assigned to TC (optional)
2 buttons assigned to next and previous LCD Info Panel (no need switch in that case)

Tips:
To be very close to F1 shiftlights you have to change the default config (F1Dash.ini) with:
SHIFTLIGHTSTYPE = 2

SHIFTLIGHTSBLACKOUTDELAY = 18

RPM1 = 96% // 1st bar (GREEN) threshold relative to redline
RPM2 = 96% // 2nd bar (GREEN) threshold relative to redline
RPM3 = 98% // 3rd bar (YELLOW) threshold relative to redline
RPM4 = 98% // 4th bar (YELLOW) threshold relative to redline
RPM5 = 99% // 5th bar (RED) threshold relative to redline
RPM6 = 99% // 6th bar (RED+) threshold relative to redline

This app display Gear and RPM on the cool BU0710 USB board from the GREAT Leo!
The app calculate automatically the right rpm curve depending the car used.

Nothing to configure excepted the /insim 29999 when LFS is started.

Hi, Here the latest G25 Mod I’ve made! now the goal was to make my steering wheel prototype based on MOMO wheel and F1Dashboard pcb from Leo in carbon fiber… here some photos of the result after a lot of hard work…
Photos are respectively:
the Prototype in plastic, the glass fiber mold based on plastic proto, the “carbon sandwich” 3 layers of carbon fiber + 2 layers of glass fabric, then the carbon box sanded, clear coated, polished with electronics ready to be installed, the steering wheel in action…

This time I’m working with the great Leo Bodnard to make an rFactor plugin that manage its F1Dash board. For that I’ve modded my MOMO wheel to include the PCB prototype + 10 buttons and 3 switches.

Hi, like everybody I’m a little frustrated by the 2 buttons only on my G25 Steering wheel so I’ve made a really simple thing. As I only use the seqential shifter I’ ve keeped the shifter buttons block from the H shifter and putted on my G25 Steering wheel then I bought a MOMO wheel and put it on.
