Gradient and Image Frame scrolling Gauge Objects
« on: November 01, 2016, 10:36:35 AM »
QUICK TUTO:

the VDASH-EMU 1.1-30 includes 2 new objects, the Gradient Gauge and Image Scrolling gauge

- the Gradient Gauge is a simple vertical or horizontal gauge bar filled by a gradient define from the start (object color) to the end (background color), obviously the remain border color define the edge color of the object. The properties of this object let you define the targeted telemetry data (RPM, SPEED, OIL/WATER/TYRE Temp, PRESS, AXES, etc.) and its MAX Value.

- Image Frame Scrolling Gauge object is a little bit more complex. The object size defines a clipping rectangle (the visible area) of a more larger image. The image is masked only the clipping area is visible and image is scrolled vertically or horizontally from 0 to 100% of its height or width. The properties of this object let you define the targeted telemetry data (RPM, SPEED, OIL/WATER/TYRE Temp, PRESS, AXES, etc.) and its MAX Value and if the image needs to be stretched.

- an EVAL field is present in each object to let you do some math with raw telemetry value.

TIP: if you need a gradient on your custom page, use the gradient gauge but enter its MAX value in EVAL Field. As such the gauge will always be filled with a full gradient  ;)
