Example of creating a MACRO (sequence of keystrokes) with rotary switch 6:

Open Advanced Options panel and browse the SIM RACE F1 setup for example,

Select the tag SWITCH6_AXE6_ALLOWED and set it to true

and then double-click SWITCH 6 keys mapping list to assign  keystrokes to the positions of the switch (maximum 7 keys to each position of the switch)
again don’t forget to APPLY your change and SAVE.
